GirlSpice dethrones Riot! and debuts at number one|10/20/13

Yet another number one GirlSpice!

GirlSpice has scored their second number one on the chart with their latest album 'Make a Scene'. The album is currently sitting at number one on the chart after selling 150,000 copies in its first week of release - dethroning Riot's three-week reign at number one.

Glamazon, on the other hand, continues her journey back into the top 2 after her album has been rising upwards on the chart for the past two weeks. The album pulled in 105,000 copies this past week. So far, the album has proven to be a massive success after being certified triple-platinum earlier this month.

Folk starlet Ada has been making waves as well with her commercially successful self-titled album 'ADA'. This past week, the album has risen from 14-3, pulling in 101,000 copies. With the commercial and critical success of the album, it may just appear on our Top 20 Albums of the Year list this coming December.

Another release this week besides GirlSpice's chart-topping one, comes from the Italian pop starlet Vara Gallo who recently released her second studio album 'Lover's Eyes' last week. The album comes in at number four this week, pulling in a mediocre first-week sales of 100,000 copies. The album is a follow-up to her successful debut studio album 'Hoes and Bitches' which was released late last year.

James Urie's 'The Recovery' went downwards two positions this week, falling 3-5 and pulling in 90,000 copies of the album sold.  Aside from that, Riot's three-week reign at number one ended this week after 'Wild Young Things' which dropped five positions downwards after drawing in 85,000 copies of their album sold - landing at number 6 this week.
